Diamonds

Diamonds are hardly worth the effort or their time to use. The most coveted of all gems and they are pretty much boring! Sell your diamonds to the gemshops or use them for recharging mage rechargeables.

Emeralds

Fancy Gems

Fancy gems are those with fancy names and those that have "star", "fire", "quartz", or "rock" in their name. Rock crystals are cheap and useless. The numbers in the parenthesis though are the number of times that colored disk appeared while holding a piece of citrine quartz.

Jaspers

Jaspers are by far the best gems a wizard can find. They demonstrate true wizardy talents. Absolutely impressive! Keep this a secret and get folks to gaze in awe. No one sees the gem disintegrate when working these gems. Any true wizard casts his voice (ventriliquates) from other mouths and performs magical vanishing acts upon objects in the hand. Magicians hold many abilities, including a variety of acting skills.

Tourmalines

Tourmalines are much like the other boring gems. But you know what? They are cheap and they are true to their color. Clear tourmalines are common in the lands and great for making clear disks!
