Note: The katar was first enchanted to 1x on 8/31/2002. The first potion was poured the day before. Here we start the second pouring to start the process of bringing it to 2x. Supposedly, we'll have to pour potion, let it temper, enchant, then repeat this process.

You pour your mirtokh potion on the katar. The liquid oozes over the surface of your katar, creating a faint aura of steam. With a soft cloth, you work the liquid in well until you hear a faint crackling noise coming from it, and it appears faded. The tempering seems to have been successful. Your katar should be ready to enchant in 1 to 2 days.

The patterns of essence about the katar indicate it is being enchanted and is one of your projects. You sense the katar has a weak enchantment. It is currently tempering and on the first step of the enchanting process.

Careful examination indicates the katar has a strength of 70 and a durability of 175. You determine the current state of the katar to be at 100% integrity.
You see nothing unusual, except for a small enchanter's mark.

As you concentrate on casting your magicks at it, faint sparkles surround and embed the katar, and join themselves to its very structure. Then the sparkles pulse brighter, in unison. A bright aura suddenly surrounds the katar and seems to consume it! After a moment the glow fades and the katar returns to normal. The enchantment was successful.

Careful examination shows the item is on the final stage of the enchant process and will be ready to enchant in about 1 day.

The patterns of essence about the broadsword indicate it is being enchanted and is one of your projects. You sense the broadsword has a weak enchantment. It is currently tempered and ready to be enchanted. It is on the first step of the enchanting process.

The essence swirls as it flows in a fog of chaotic patterns around the katar. You can't make any sense from the patterns.

The katar is now a 2x weapon !
